The Process

Our Interview Process and Your Candidate Journey

Our two stage interview process

Our interview journey is designed to help you showcase your best self. It’s an opportunity for us to learn all about you, and for you to learn about us. Typically there will be two structured interviews, either virtually, or in person at a neutral venue if local.

When we meet for the first stage interview, we’ll be looking at your technical suitability for the role. You’ll get to meet your prospective hiring manager, and together we’ll explore your skills and experience in more detail. It’s your opportunity too, to learn about the role, the team and life at Reeds Financial.

If you are successful following first stage interview, we’ll invite you back for a second stage behaviours-based interview. We’ll ask you competency-based questions which help us identify how well you align with our purpose-led culture.

Both interviews are equally important to us. We want you to be confident that we’re the right choice for you and your career.

For some roles where appropriate we may ask you complete further assessments as part of the recruitment process, this could include an occupational personality questionnaire or similar assessment, or a task based exercise. Your recruiter will give you full details should this apply to the role you’re interviewing for.

We won’t leave you hanging

At every stage of your application, we’ll keep you informed as well as confirm any next steps, and your recruiter will be a dedicated point of contact for you throughout.

We know that it’s not going to work out every time. If you demonstrate the drive and determination we look for, but the timing and the fit is just out, we’ll still make sure your experience is great. We’re a fast-growing business, so we’ll be sure to keep you in mind for the future.

When it comes to passing on the good news, and making you an offer verbally, we aim to do this within two working days of your final stage interview.

We know that changing jobs and starting somewhere new is life changing. Whether that’s travelling to a new place of work, or bigger things like stepping up with more responsibility, we’ll continue to support, guide, and prepare you for joining us.

Life at Reeds Financial

We’ve built a team that produces market-beating results in an exciting and vibrant atmosphere. So, if you’re looking to kickstart your career or seize an opportunity in a rapidly expanding business, where you can enjoy yourself whilst contributing to a growing success story, then you’re looking in the right place!

I joined in 2022 not knowing anything about mortgages. With the help and guidance I have been able to build a career in a short amount of time and I'm looking forward to growing in the industry that I've come to love.
